Assyrian Battering Ram

One of the first ancient siege engines, this battering ram was depicted on the Balawat Gate in its series of decorated bronze reinforcments. The Neo Assyrian Empire was very adept at siegecraft, and created siege engines like this battering ram and even siege towers.
