This is a cover for the slot on the back of the Atari dual fight stick or Ultimate dual arcade fight stick sold at Microcenter. The slot provides a path for cables inside of the case to connect to power and HDMI. This cover fills in the slot and provides a little more resistance to cables pulling out of the case and maybe damaging the ports inside.
There are two versions available. One uses two 3mm heat set threaded inserts from Adafruit. The other version just uses the screws to cut their own threads. In either case 3mm x 10mm socket cap screws are used to hold the assembly together.
The cables go through the cover with holes large enough for the USB and HDMI connectors. A split plate the size of the cable screws onto the cover, one set for HDMI another for USB.
There is also a hole for a normally open momentary switch to act as a shutdown button. There are plenty of instructions for using GPIO pin 3 and ground (pins 5 & 6) on a Raspberry Pi.
