Attic Hatch Latch

Latch for a drop down ladder that un-collapses when it comes down from your attic. The latch actually goes on the door that is actually an access panel to the collapsing ladder.

These types of latches are made of plastic and commonly break. So why not 3D print yourself one with a better / stronger plastic such as Nylon or plastic with carbon fibers in it.
