Auger Support

This is simple device for supporting an auger typically in the horizontal position. The auger sits in the large radius and the backing plate allows for the support to be bolted to another vertical upright surface with clearance for the auger to pass through. Used in long running operations where the auger is expected to be under a lateral load or long enough to sag while in operation. Said support would be located along the auger to maximize the support. The large radius could be home to a bushing or bearing depending on the application this could aid in general operation and or extend the life of the support itself. The support could be used as part of a screw mechanism as part of a screw feed mechanism in such a case the support radius could be reduced or a bearing mounted as power shaft to the screw is passed through.
