A handy little template to check standard letter sizes in Australia. This template checks width and thickness of small and large letters.
The official Australia Post guidelines are:
Small Letter or Card
L: 240mm, W: 130mm, T: 5mm
Large Letter
L: 360mm, W: 260mm, T: 20mm
