Auto Sentry Turret

Needed to Design a turret for an upcomming project. this is the result.

All stl files are included, as well as blender file in case you need to make modifications for your own designs.

when i build it i will post pictures. currently a little low on plastic, we know how that goes.

uses 2 28BYJ-48 motors from Ebay. waiting on them to get here from china.

some notes: the scale of each object really depends on your slicing program, in slic3r i scale the parts to 10000% in cura i have to scale them to 0.1 these are the only two slicers i have.

You will need 3 ABEC-3 ball bearings to assemble this correctly, 2 for the Y pivot and one for the X rotator, that is why those holes are so big, they are sized to press fit the bearings.


uses these motor brackets, i havent printed them so i dont know the fit.
