Supports are only needed at the edges; connecting holes do not require supports.
The parts are numbered, starting at the top right. Number 1 has a hole for threading a cable, as does number 4. These holes are used to rotate the board.
I added a shroud as an extension because the board's lighting was overexposed, making the ring difficult to see. This creates a shadow on the surround, allowing the illuminated ring to stand out clearly.
