This water rocket launcher is a new prototype I created but I never tested.
The operating principle is that the tension spring holds the retaining arms until the desired pressure is reached. For a given distance on the support arm, the tension spring provides sufficient torque to retain the thrust force exerted by the rocket on the holding arm. So, for the pressure you want to reach with your rocket in the water, you will have to buy a spring with the right constant. In addition, the flat form of launch should withstand the weight of the rocket with the water in the interior. However, I have never tested it yet. NOTE: You will need to buy an Car check valve to put in the middle cylinder where goes the Rocket. We want to generate pressure without leak.
