NOTE! - This revision requires an 8mm metal round bar at a max 169mm Length.

This redesign greatly increases the accuracy of the key-cutting jig. allowing for a smooth glide and perfect alignment.

This is a revival project inspired by Walnetto's cutting machine from 2018.

The original version was made for house keys.

Whilst it had a good basis, I could see a lot of room for improvement. So here goes…

New improved clamping system for the keys.

It has been widened and has more depth to allow for automotive keys and make it more universally friendly for different key types.

Each component has been separated to allow for more accurate printing and is now mounted via M4x16 Allen head screws.

material has been cut to reduce waste.

There is also a HOBBYIST version that requires no 8mm bar!
