Backyard Pallet Bar Table

I came up with these a couple years back when I was building the SOMA StrEAT Food Park in San Francisco. We were already re-purposing pallets as outdoor room dividers, when I realized that if I cut a few inches off then added a couple of planks, I'd have a perfect height outdoor bar table. So find yourself a couple of pallets, in good condition, maybe even spend $5 a piece, cut yourself some 30" pieces of 2x4 for the feet. 24" pieces for the counter top supports, and some 2x6 or 2x12 for the top. An 1-1/2" x 8' tree stakes works as a footrail, paint and stain, and you have a unique and cool piece of Outdoor Furniture.
