Makes
I was inspired bij the Heng Balance Lamp by Zanwen Li on Instagram.
This was made of wood but I found no 3D-printed derative so I made one.
I made parts for little and bigger printers.
Print parts:
1. Small test parts to calibrate the slicer (with modeled supports).
2. Right part + cap (2x)
3. Quarter curve part + cap (4x) or half curve + cap (2x)
4. Mount (6x)
5. Magnet close and hole (2x)
6. Pin (6x)
7. Housing (1x)
Be aware that the modeled supports are sliced in your slicer (check shell thickness)
See also printer settings below.
Materials used:
1. ledstrip (3828 - 8 mm or 5050 - 10 mm)
2. 2 neodium magnets, round 10 mm, thick 10 mm (must be strong N50)
3. switch with (long) lever (AliXpress: V-153-1C25 Micro Switch)
4. potentiometer for dimming (1 kΩ - 10 kΩ)
5. jack socket female 5.5 mm, 12 volt (see picture)
6. electrical wire
7. rope for the two balls
8. 2x M3 bolts and nuts
9. Some glue and soldering iron
Assembling:
The light caps can be printed
