Baller! Chair Glider

I got tired of the pneumatic cylinder on my office chair catching the edge of my desk mat every time the cylinder moved past the edge of the mat. Made for a Herman Miller Aeron, but it will work as-is for any chair with a 46-47mm cylinder and can be scaled to suit others.

In retrospect it's rather oversized for its intended use, but it gets the job done.
