Bamboo Cicada Sounder

Cicadas are insects that can make loud noises, especially in summer, we can hear the sound of cicadas all over the trees.The bamboo cicada is a traditional toy in China, usually made from bamboo tubes. When the rope string rubs against a bamboo stick coated with rosin or beeswax, it makes a sound, which is transmitted into the bamboo tube through the rope, causing resonance and amplifying the sound.I used PLA to print most of the parts, without rosin, it could make sound, but in low volume.If you want to get a good bamboo cicada, you need to prepare a nylon rope and rosin (or beeswax).Here is video to show how the 3D printed cicada works. https://makingis.fun/makerworld/cicada.mp4Wrap the rosin around the stick where the arrow points, just a thin layer.
