The insert fits into the Bambu Lab filament spools and is used to dry the filament.
I fill the insert with silica beads (bigger than 2mm ) using the measuring cup (this is approx. 40 grams and half the volume of the insert) and I use the sieve to filter beads that are too small (sieve 1.8mm insert 1.5mm).
the silica beads are very inexpensive and can be dried again in the oven.
The insert can be placed in the AMS or similar without any problems.
Two magnets (10mm x 2mm) are inserted in each part to hold the two parts of the insert together.
To insert the magnets, the print must be paused !!!
Update:
i have brought the magnets a little further together and now 10x2.2mm magnets also fit into the inserts.
This should give the magnets a greater force
