EDIT: This will not fit on an X1(C), as the lidar sensor is directly behind the hotend fan. This is my attempt to help minimise nozzle clogging in my P1P, which seems to be a fairly common issue with Bambu Lab printers. One of the theories is that heat from the bed/model is being drawn up into the (relatively small) hotend cooling fan, which reduces its efficiency and ability to cool, especially when dealing with high bed temperatures. This simple cover should help with this. It is held on with the two screws which hold the hotend fan on. The easiest way to fit it is to unload the filament, remove the two screws which hold the hotend assembly in, and pull it down so you have enough room to unscrew the fan screws. Fit the "insulator" piece and then do up the fan screws. I printed in PETG-CF but you can print it in whatever filament you like, except PLA (it's likely to melt) If you give this a try, please leave a comment on whether you find it useful or not.
