Simple RGB LED Spiral Light — Build Instructions
Materials Required
3.15 metres of RGB LED strip (10mm, standard density)
4 suction cups (available from a dollar store)
4 printed arm pieces (PLA+ filament recommended for all printed parts)
Super glue
A suitable enclosure for the power supply
Step 1 — Print the Parts
Print all 4 arms using PLA+. The box fits on a Bambu P1S bed but requires a small XY offset to the right to position correctly before slicing.
Step 2 — Prepare the Power Mount
Clip a slot into the enclosure to route the power lead through. The power supply mounts on the outside of the assembly.
Step 3 — Attach the Suction Cups
Apply super glue to bond each of the 4 arms to the body. Position them to match the cup geometry before the glue sets.
⚠️ Important — Allow Full Cure Time
Super glue releases vapour as it cures, and this can deposit a hazy film on nearby glass surfaces even after the glue appears dry. Allow several hours (ideally overnight) before mounting near
