Bambu Lab Reusable Spool Core with Retaining Discs

This model was created to solve a very practical problem I ran into with Bambu Lab reusable spools. --Printed in PETG HF with 0.8 nozzle-- I use Bambu Lab empty spools because they are great: they are sturdy, reusable, and can be split into two halves to load a filament refill in the center.However, things get tricky when doing a respool from another brand. Most respool solutions require printing a full spool body. That works, but it means the empty Bambu Lab spool is “locked” to that filament until it’s completely used. In my case, I don’t have many empty spools, so I need to be able to separate the spool halves, remove the filament, and reuse the spool on another refill. The issue with a simple core (without side walls) is that the filament is under tension. Once you remove the outer spool halves, the filament expands, loses its shape, and you can no longer put it back into the spool cleanly.
