I made some lamps using the BambuLab LED-Kit 001. But sometimes it was out of stock, and quite expensive. Also I had from other projects lots of LED strips left over without any wiring or switches. So I designed this light as a replacement for the BambuLab 001 LED kit. My strips had a 17mm LED spacing and a width of 8mm. I wanted to get the same brightness and power, so I had to reduce those 17mm. In order to keep things simple I just folded the strip between 2 LEDs. I made a small template with square holes 2,5x3mm for the LEDs, with an 8mm spacing, so the folds get equally spaced. I also had some USB ports laying around (e.g https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006974661473.html), they are about 0,23€ each. This port is hold with 2 screws 1,6…2mm in diameter and 6-10mm in length, either self-threading or metric.I used a single copper wire to do the internal connections.
