Baofeng DM-1 battery shield

When my friend PD5WL gave me a MMDVM head PCB and a old DMR handheld, I picked up DMR again. Although the handheld did work (but was very limited features), I go my hands on a Baofeng DM1701A DMR handheld. Which was loaded with the OpenGD77 firmware making it basically a DMR Swish Army Knife.

After using it for a month, I ordered a few spare batteries for it, so i could take a pre-charged extra battery with me when I'm out in the field. But there is one thing you don't want in your backpack that are Lithium Ion batteries with open terminals. So I designed a clip on shield to shield at least the (non charging) battery terminals.
