BARCELONA PANOTS POT

This is a simple pen pot model and its tape. I designed it to achieve my purpose to know better the city that drives me crazy. Now I want to explain you what the Panots are so that every time you see the pot you remember Barcelona.

Its history is linked to the greatest period of urban expansion in the Catalan capital. The panot of Barcelona is a tile made of cement, sand and water that represents a flower with four petals.

At the beginning of the 20th century Barcelona was known as "Can Fanga" because of the large amount of mud that accumulated on the sidewalks.

In 1906 the City Council launched a public tender for the manufacture of 10,000 square meters of tiles, along with a sample of designs, whose origin was not documented. These were a flower, a skull, concentric circles, four pills and four pills with four circles.

Now I have made a compilation of these designs so you can contemplate them whenever you want.I hope you enjoy them as much as i do.
