The piece is a Link piece compatible with Lego and other brand brick pieces.
The original idea stems from Magni4cent Pose, who came up with the idea of a little conncector-piece similar in function to the discarded CCBS of Lego but for the smaller figurine-builds of the Brickonicle/Minionicle Community; replacing ball joints for Clip/Hinge connections.
Aside from small limbs the piece has also proven to work well as finger joints for larger bionicle/ regular action figure scale MOCs.
A second variant of the piece comes with Pin holes for further accessorizng and connectivity.
