Barista Pro Hopper Lid

I made a lid for the built-in grinder opening on the Sage / Breville Barista Pro, intended for users who have switched to a separate external grinder and no longer use the integrated one. The lid covers the grinder opening completely, freeing up usable space on top of the machine for storing accessories such as a tamper, dosing cup, or WDT tool. This model has two profiles: a tight friction-fit version intended for permanent installation, and a looser-fit version intended for easier removal (e.g. for single dosing). Grinder Switch Bypass To prevent the machine from showing a “hopper not installed” error, the model includes a switch pin that attaches to the internal grinder switch. A flexible retaining ring clips onto the pin and can be gently bent during installation, after which it snaps into place and holds the pin securely via friction.
