Barn Owl

This is the surface reconstruction of an owl (Tyto alba) obtained from a point cloud available in the supplementary material of the paper “Virtual manipulation of tail postures of a gliding barn owl (Tyto alba) demonstrates drag minimization when gliding.” The geometry was subsequently used to perform external aerodynamic simulations from a subject at my masters.
