A low-slung quadrupedal beast built like a living tank. The body is wide, flat, and heavily armored, designed for crawling rather than standing.
Body
The top is a massive, segmented carapace made of interlocking basalt plates with deep cracks and sharp ridges. The plates form a symmetrical dome from front to back.
The underside is fully detailed with segmented stone plating and eight dark, circular vents that emit a faint inner glow, four on each side.
It has eight thick, pointed stone legs. Four large primary legs extend from the corners, and four smaller secondary spikes are tucked underneath. Each leg ends in a sharp, chisel-like point.
Head / Face
There is no separate head. The front of the carapace tapers to a blunt prow housing a single, central, circular eye. The eye glows bright white with concentric rings.
Coloration
Uniform dark stone in charcoal, slate grey, and black, with a rough, matte basalt texture. The only light source is the bright whit
