I have designed an RJ45 cable organizer that can be used if you have a baseboard in your room, without the need for glue or any extra fastening. Since the skirting board in my house is nailed to the wall, I can take advantage of the small gap it leaves to insert the piece, so that it stays firmly in place and the cable does not come out. The tab that goes between the baseboard and the wall is barely one millimeter thick, so it is thin yet strong enough to stay securely in place. I used a Cat7 cable to determine the diameter of the section that holds the cable.
