Bathtub Overflow Drain Cover

This is a bathtub overflow drain cover for threaded 3" elbow and is very similar to the AB&A push-on drain cover. The material used in the original AB&A cover is pretty poor. I believe it is composed of a plated ABS or PC - which is a poor choice for chemical resistance and fatigue creep - and will eventually fail at one or multiple clips. AB&A does not sell the cover separately, so you must buy a full kit (including the drain). I have replaced at least two and decided to model this and print it moving forward.

This is intended to be pushed onto the threaded drain elbow and is held in place by the saw tooth clip profile. This is not 100% identical to AB&A style cover as those clips are 45 degrees to the drain slots and the slotting in this cover are slightly larger but not as long. It should be a relatively tight fit - but you may need to adjust scaling to maintain strength. This could be modified to add the ability to fully plug the overflow with a secondary plate/cover.
