Batt Pack 18650 cover

Some time ago my i-Optron N114 telescope needed a battery replacement, so I decided to change the original AA batt. pack (8x) by LiPO/NiMH 18650 assembly (4x).
I´ve printed batt pack above and added electronics for individual chargers (LiPO chargers TP4056 bought on aliexpress for U$0.80 each).

You could mount individual charger for each battery and link them in series to acheive 12~14V needed for telescope operation. Google it for the circuit. It is so simple.

BTW you could find good battery cells on failed laptop battery assembly. Test individually after disasemble laptop batt. pack.

WARNING! Be carefull to do not make any perforation on 18650 cells! It could cause extreme heat even fire!

This project is a cover to protect batteries when in use in the field.
