Rain water was entering into the topmost vents marine battery box we use for the electric trolling motor we operate on a small dinghy. As I actually use this box to house the charge controllers, I felt it was safe to shroud these vents from the rain.
There are 2 tabs that insert into the central "umbrella" this align with a typical marine battery box, of the sort purchased here at Canadian Tire.
