Battery Holder

My hand vacuum died, so I opened it up and found a battery pack of 12 cells. I separated the cells and inspected them individually. Out of the 12 cells, 8 were still in a good shape, so I decided to use them. I designed a simple battery holder that holds 6 batteries. A big screw holds the batteries together and can also be used to mount the holder.

Keep in mind that the batteries in your hand vacuum are usually a non-standard size. Mine are sub-C cells (length: 43mm, diameter: 23mm). To connect the batteries, just solder them. Make sure to be quick, you do not want to overheat the batteries.
