This is an improvement to the BCN3D+ that occurred to me when trying to adjust the tension of the X-axis belt:
Issue:
The X-axis belt exerts a tension which causes rotation of the X-end-idler and the X-end-motor. I also found it quite difficult to tighten the X belt because there is almost no space to grab the pulley to make force (and the more force you make, the more you rotate the final pieces).
Solution:
This made me think of inserting a third, threaded 8mm rod, beyond the belt, between the X-end-idler and the X-end-motor, which allows for tightening these and tensioning the belt (and thus counteracting its tension). For achieving this I have modified the design of the X-end-idler and the X-end-motor, which allows to add said 8mm threaded rod. This I have protected with heat shrink tubing (so as not to damage the extruder cables in case they rub against it), and I have re-routed these cables, as well as those of the X motor (so they do not get caught when Z is at maximum).
