I designed this motorized beam blocker to quickly block a laser beam. It is driven by standard Microsized RC servo motors (9g). It incorporate a 25 mm mirror to reflect high power laser beam into an external beam dump, but for low power lasers (< 10mW) no mirror or external beam dump is needed. This motorized beam blocker is not design to maintain the laser beams pointing stability, since the arm is only suspended by the servo axis.
