i designed this part to mount small ball bearings (7mm/2mm) for a 4mm axle. my students build freewheeling vehicles with these parts and it worked out quite well. the mounts can snap off if too much force is applied while mounting - but this is easily avoidable.

i bought a bunch of the bearings in china and with these mounts we installed them easily.
