Bed Construction 4 (Real Size, Customizable)

The life-size version was given as a gift within the family. The lying surface of the bed measures the dimensions 140x200 cm.
With a clear height from the floor to the side board of 35 cm various boxes can also be used as additional storage space under the mattress base.
The material costs for the solid wood frame in pine amount to € 76.73 (in 2017). The joined parts of the head and foot construction were fastened with with commercially available cross-head wood screws screwed together, countersunk according to the visible area and dowelled.

A early design study was made out of parts with the lasercutter to proove the idea.
As it was designed with openscad a 3D-printable version falls out with no additional effort - so i printed a small version :-)
