Inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2339332 I created a parametric version of the (canadian) bee escape cone.
Being parametric it can be sized to fit snug in a drilled hole, so there is no need for screws or glue. Default setting of 23.5 fits the 24mm holes of my wood drill in 3.6mm. You can adjust for your own drill hole size and board thickness.
It is also intended to be printed in Spiralize / vase mode for fast and cheap printing.
In thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2332871 it says to not keep it on for longer than 6 hours (I suspect the bees might find their way back after that). Not sure if this is really a problem, I haven't tested this thoroughly. Using them overnight seems to be fine.
My other bee escape design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2466720) appeared to work better (less bees remaining in the honey super) but this is also not thoroughly tested, just an observation in a side-by-side situation. In the test I used 4 cones in the separator,
