bee feeder mounting bracket

This mounting bracket (black ring in above photos) allows you to use a ½ gallon wide mouth mason jar over 1/8" screen. Allows changing of the feed without disturbing the bees. Cannot use with wide mouth mason jar lids; They have a lip that keeps the lid too far away for the bees to feed. I used Dave's wide mouth mason jar lid with 1.5mm holes in it. This lid has a flat bottom and allows you to use an 1/8" screen. The lid I suggest you use is at https://makerworld.com/en/models/825760?from=search#profileId-770295. You could use other lids for this design by modifying the negative parts in the design. M ake sure you disinfect lids between uses with dilute bleach…with help keep sugar water from fermenting.
