Bee Hive Ant Barrier

Intended for 3/4" steel square tube commonly available at the hardware store. Vertical legs are 5-6" in length and can be welded to whatever horizontal shape / structure desired (a rectangle in my case for a langstroth hive). The ant trap slides up to the middle of the leg and could be supported on the underside in various ways (self tapping screws, neodymium magnets, etc..). The feet plug the bottom so ants can't go up the center of the tube while the various heights also assist if the welding warps the level. Once installed, fill with mineral oil and snap the cap back tight. The cap allows inspection or refill.
