Bee Island Flower

Inspired by the shape of a frangipani flower, this floating island is designed to help bees, bumblebees and other pollinators that fall into pools, ponds or outdoor water features while trying to drink. The flower floats on the water surface and offers a safe landing spot where insects can rest, climb out of the water and recover before flying away again. I designed it as a simple 3D printable object that combines function and aesthetics: it looks like a decorative floating flower, but its real purpose is to create a tiny life-saving refuge for pollinators in gardens and outdoor spaces.
