Beer Keg into End Table

Have an old beer keg layin' around? They make great tables for recliners!The design I put together uses very precise measurements. It uses a 4mm thick table top, It was precisely measured out to fix like a glove with a caliper down to the thousandths of an inch. The center has a peg that goes down into the empty Beer Keg and supports it from the center. The outside of the table top has a 2mm thick edge that touches the beer keg all around on the inside so that it is very strongly and evenly supported on all sides. I made the table top even with the handle top.Mine doesnt have it on the photo but, I would also recommend making a 5MM Brim (Outside Only) and leaving it on the print. It would fill the fine gap around the edge of the print nicely.Very Solid print, would support 50lbs of weight if needed, way more than you would ever need for a cheeseburger, coke and a TV Remote!Great use for an old beer keg!
