A new concept to stop Hive beetles entering hives with a 45 degree pipe.
This is a two piece approach and I can make this into a three piece approach by using a PCV cap and cutting it in half. All items are available at the hardware store.
I can make this as a bolt on but I assume you will push a tiny section of 1 inch pipe into the hole you cut in the hive and then attached the main part.
Part B slips over Part A.
I was not able to catch a swarm and try this. Please comment if it works the same as the retail versions. Instead of aiming down, I can add a cover so you can turn it horizontal sideways. so rain will not go into the entrance.
