I needed some bench dogs for my little workbench. The original bench dogs are to expensive.
I inserted a M6 nut in the base and glued and screwed the top to the base (I used 3mm x 15mm wood screws).
On the top and the bottom I attached some 2mm self-adhesive EPDM-foam.
For the pin I used a M6 nut and a M6 countersunk bolt, so that the pin can manually be attached to the bench dog.
