Created as an alternative benchmarking device for 3d printers,
This happy little train is good for calibrating machine as it has a variety of hole tolerance and angle tests designed to identify printer problems or deficiencies.
The PDF included has measurements and other information that new users may find helpful.
The top surface has been provided with blank labelling areas, so that you may emboss or deboss your text to track filament types and brands.
This little train model is designed to be a good test for new filaments while adhering to the qualities of:
1. Being able to test hole/fitment tolerances. (the wheels test 0.3mm, and 0.4mm rotation, and the two outer windows test 0.2mm and 0.125mm sliding tolerances)
2. Ensure that text/thin walls were able to be printed in the filament.
3. Test various angles of build from the plate.
4. Be able to catalogue my filament with optional label placement.
5. Utilize under 20g of filament
