About This Model This is the classic Benchy In a Bottle — a clear PETG display model featuring the original 3DBenchy sealed mid-print inside a smooth, curved bottle. It was designed to show off the clarity and 3D lensing effect of spiral vase prints using transparent filament. The shape is slightly different from my earlier pirate ship bottle — this one has a smoother curve and shorter neck for a more compact, glassy appearance. I also created a new single-piece stand to go with it, designed to balance the bottle and give it a nice floating presentation. It prints great in metallic, copper, or gold PLA. Background This model was a follow-up to my original “Benchy Ship in a Bottle” project. After a long process of testing transparent PETG prints, I landed on a formula that produced glass-like clarity — especially with flat-sided or gently curved bottles. The clarity you see here is mostly due to the shape of the model, not just the filament or slicer profile. Special thanks to @jmaicn_l
