These are designs for a Bernoulli gripper. The designs differ only in the thread types and pipe sizes and are labeled as such. The cream color device is the design that I uploaded. The black device that was being tested in the pictures is an older model. If you have a 1/2inch airgun nozzle, the most common thread layout is 20 threads per inch and if you have a 3/8inch nozzle, you will likely have 24 threads per inch. But, it was easy to add both thread layouts so I did that just in case.
A Bernoulli gripper creates a lift force by using the Bernoulli effect (how airplanes create lift to ascend). By forcing air out of the openings parallel to the surface you want to grip, a low pressure region is created above the surface that pulls the object to grip towards the gripper. You essentially create a vacuum by pushing air out very quickly. Bernoulli grippers are not conventionally accessible to the average human as they can range in price from $500 to $2000.
