Better Mouse Trap V8

Another better mouse trap design. I saw a rudimentary sketch of this design in a google search and thought it would be cool to see how I could bring it to life. No small task, let me tell you. After ten versions and a design change along the way, I finally made it to what I consider the “finish line”. This is the end product after 24 hours of testing. After I got close, it was down to shaving a mm or two at a time until the balance was just right. Drop a few pieces of dog food or cheese into the tube so it settles in the recessed section at the far end. Open the door so the long outriggers are pointing straight up & down. Place the trap in this position of a flat level surface. The slightest change in balance will rock the trap and close the door. The tiniest drop of CA glue may be required to hold the little nub on the door hinge pin in place. The alternate version seen in the photos can be downloaded on a separate profile.
