This bevel cutter was designed to cut bevels into the edge of 3.5mm foam sheet suitable for creating octagons and squares.
The bevel can be cut right at the edge of the sheet, or the .scad can be modified so as to create a strip of a given width measured from the inner edge of the bevel. We used this to create half-inch walls around our model.
I have not at present gone to the trouble of making this thing customisable. But, hopefully the comments inside the .scad indicate what you would need to change to get other angles and other stock thicknesses.
To assemble, screw a box-cutter blade or similar onto the face of the slider using the handy holes provided by the model.
