Beverage Coaster

First upload after being required by my company to learn 3d design. Its only been 1 month since i started, and i must admit this stuff is therapeutic! Im hooked. Here is a beverage coaster i did last night out of boredom. I got tired and did not continue to add detail, it was mandala inspired, i would like to add some lotus flowers to wrapping upwards later.

Please any feedback and advice on the do's and don'ts of this site are welcomed and appreciated.
