Adapter to mount rear bicycle mud guard / fender for vertical mounting frames.
Designed for 700c (28-35mm) Bontrager NCS Fender set. Accommodates M5 bolts.
This part may fit other fender styles, and might work for other sizes when scaled, but that remains untested. I encourage those interested to remix this part.
I did not use washers when installing this part.
My Giant Escape 3 has an unusual rear fender mounting hole. When I bought my mudguards at the local bike shop, they told me that for my frame type, I would need to drill a hole in the fender to mount it securely to my frame. I didn't want to do that, and I couldn't find an existing adapter, so I made my own.
Modeled in Blender. STL provided for printing, .blend for full source.
