Bicycle Gear Indicator

Sometimes it's just not a good idea to be looking back at your cassette to see what gear you're in... This is for those occasions. The window and slot on this are just wide enough for the 11 speed shifter on my bike, and probably a lot of others as well. The marker has a slightly oversized hole in it for the shift cable, so you'll need to put a dot of glue on it once installed to fix it in place. I haven't put any index marks on the body of the indicator because I want it to be suitable for anything 11 speed or less regardless of who's shifter you're using and how much cable it pulls from one shift to the next. In use, the idea is to install, then run through your gears one at a time putting a mark on the body of the indicator with paint, Sharpie, whatever, every place where the marker stops.
