The hitch that came with my bicycle trailer only works on the rear axle. But one side has the derailer and the other has my kickstand. So to use the trailer I have to pull off the kickstand and replace it with the trailer hitch. I would use the trailer a lot more if I didn't have to do that. So on my bike, right next to the axle, there is a set of two threaded screw points. I decided that was the perfect place to mount a trailer hitch. But I'd have to destroy the existing hitch or modify it, or create a new hitch.
The mount point on the bicycle consists of two threaded M5 screws that are 24mm apart. If your bike has this, this will work on your bike.
I modeled this to print with a sturdy material in mind, such as carbon fiber filament. I haven't tested it yet, but I'm reasonable sure will work with a strong material. Shapeways can print this in metal. Plus I had to model it anyway for CNC fabrication, on something like a Tormach.
I'm not sure, but this *may* work if
