This is my design based on the Biocube factory filter tray. It lets you use your own DLS or other material as desired. The filter packs sold for the Biocube become clogged easily with debris. I usually can't get even one month out of one. So I took one apart to try to salvage the shell, only to find there were vertical walls separating 4 chambers of the drip tray. This would not allow water to flow evenly throughout the surface of the tray. So I decided to design my own. This one follows the dimensions of the original, but has a flat bottom with a grid of 3mm holes to allow water to drip freely across the entire surface. And the single chamber makes it easy to cut and replace a single piece of DLS or foam to trap particles. The media chamber is 60mm x 180mm x 12mm deep.

I have a few other ideas for things to make for this aquarium. If you find this one useful, or have any questions, please let me know.
